Companies like Gamestec must play their part in regenerating the pub trade, Ross commented. We are actively looking at how we can work with our customers to open up new revenue streams, increase pub footfall and maximise the cashbox takings of SWP and AWP machines.
Slot machines and table games are a big attraction
According to the Macau Government Tourist Office the traffic of gamblers from Japan to Macau has increased compared to last years figures, however, the Office is taking measures to increase this rate even more, up to 15 percent.
While numbers increase rapidly, thanks to the development of megaresorts and casinos that offer slot machines, table games and several entertainment options, a spokesperson for the MGTO said now they will focus on attractions for middle-aged visitors, seniors and female travelers.
